Condoning Terrorism

Allegation: Muslim organizations have not done enough to condemn terrorism. We never hear Muslim organizations condemning the terrorist attacks that are happening everywhere.

Answer: This is a myth. Muslim organizations have continuously condemned terrorism. However, often times the media is not interested in the condemnation, rather they are interested in reporting the terrorist attacks. Muslims view Osama Bin Laden and his likes just like Americans will view Timothy McVeigh (and much worse). There is no place for terrorism in Islam. There is no place for terrorism in the American Muslim community, which stands to lose the most by any terrorist attack.
